• Williamson County under immediate burn ban due to drought conditions (fox7austin.com) — If you live in Cedar Park, you're now under a Williamson County burn ban that took effect late Tuesday morning because of worsening drought. Outdoor burning of yard waste and other materials is prohibited unless fully enclosed, and violations can bring fines up to $500. The ban is set for 90 days but could end sooner if conditions improve.
   

• 3 injured in overnight house fire in Cedar Park (cbsaustin.com) — Three people were hurt in an overnight house fire in Cedar Park's Caballo Ranch subdivision, where a large multi-agency response brought 17 emergency units to the 3000 block of Paseo de Charros. Fire crews contained the blaze, protected a neighboring home, and cleared the scene by 5:45 a.m., with no injuries to first responders. The cause remains under investigation.
   

• Pflugerville gun store break-in: Teens arrested for stealing 34 firearms, fleeing in stolen vehicle (fox7austin.com) — Cedar Park police are part of a multi-agency investigation linking a Pflugerville gun store burglary, a stolen Audi SUV, and a string of car break-ins stretching from Cedar Park to Buda. Two teens are now facing charges after investigators tied social media posts, surveillance video, and fingerprints to stolen firearms and vehicles. Authorities recovered multiple guns and ammunition from an Austin apartment.
