• Rail projects, highway expansions: 6 Austin metro transportation updates (communityimpact.com) — Two road projects around the CedarView development in north Cedar Park are slated to wrap up by late August, with new traffic signals at New Hope and Enchanted Rock and intersection work at New Hope and Main-Block House timed for Scheels' Aug. 29 opening. The roundup also tracks major transit moves across the Austin metro, from Round Rock street extensions to a potential Austin–San Antonio high-speed rail line.
   

• Georgetown ISD partners with Next Level Medical amidst rising healthcare costs (communityimpact.com) — Georgetown ISD is rolling out free access to Next Level Medical for employees and families starting Sept. 1, and one of the provider's nearby clinics is in Cedar Park. District leaders hope shifting more care to these clinics, plus new cost-saving partners and an international pharmacy option, will ease rising healthcare expenses that have squeezed both staff paychecks and the school budget.
