• Volleyball Recap: Rouse Escapes with a Win (maxpreps.com) — Cedar Park High's volleyball team pushed Rouse to five sets Tuesday but fell 3–2 despite strong performances from Anna Kurz and Harper Bohnen. The Timberwolves, now 13–17 and on a five-game skid, hit the road Friday to face Vista Ridge at 6:30 p.m., giving Cedar Park fans another chance to see if the team can turn things around.
   

• Josiah Queen Announces First Arena Tour for Spring 2027 (gospelmusic.org) — Cedar Park will host Christian artist Josiah Queen's Damascus Road Tour at the H-E-B Center on Friday, May 7, 2027, giving local fans a nearby arena stop. The show will feature songs from his new album and a worship-focused experience, with tickets going on presale September 14 and general sale September 18 via his website.
   

• Here's where Flock has camera contracts in Central Texas (kxan.com) — Cedar Park is one of eight Central Texas cities still using Flock automated license plate reader cameras while several neighboring communities have ended or paused their contracts. As state funding is cut and privacy concerns grow, local residents should watch for any future city decisions about continuing, scaling back, or expanding this surveillance technology in their neighborhoods.
