Arrest Warrant Issued For Cedar Park Mom Believed To Have Taken Child

Alexander Rodriguez, 24, said he last saw his son in early September when his ex-wife came to visit him.

CEDAR PARK, TX — An arrest warrant has been issued for the mother of a boy whose father says went missing in September, according to a published report.

The arrest warrant for interference with child custody was issued against Anais Lechuga, 24, the Austin American-Statesman reported on Saturday. Alexander Rodriguez, 24, said he last saw his son on Sept. 2, when the boy left his Cedar Park home to spend time with his mother.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children previously issued an alert in the hopes of locating 5-year-old Alan Rodriguez. The father—who was granted full custody of his son in August—told the Statesman he believes the boy is still with his mother. The mother was granted visitation rights after the divorce.
