A collision Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Muledeer Run and Overland Drive knocked out power in Leander.
Leander police will remain in the area until the transformer is fixed, reported KXAN.
Pedernales Electric is currently trying to fix the transformer to restore power. Company officials could not be reached for comment.
