Cedar Bark Festival Scheduled In Cedar Park
From noon to 2:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, dog owners can enter their pets in a costume or look-a-like contest and more.

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS — Cedar Park will be going to the dogs on Saturday, but in a good way.
The Cedar Bark Festival is scheduled this Saturday, Oct. 13, from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 2525 W. New Hope Dr. Admission is free.
So what does one do on Cedar Bark Day? Why, you bring your canine companions along while enjoying vendors, entertainment and the Cedar Park Bark Park (yes, that's a thing).

Dog owners also will be able to enter their pets for a costume contest or an owner/pet look alike contest. Sign up begins at noon, and each contest is limited to 20 participants. For more information, contact 512-401-5528 or email hailey.dulde@cedarparktexas.gov.
Proceeds benefit Friends of Cedar Bark Park, a volunteer organization that improves the park through maintenance, service projects and donations for new additions.
