Cedar Park Arts & Crafts Festival Canceled
Continuing threat of inclement weather in the wake of flooding prompts officials to cancel free family-friendly event at city rec center.

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS — The city's Arts & Crafts Festival has been canceled due to inclement weather and the continuing threat of potentially flood-producing rain, Cedar Park officials said late Friday.
The free event staged by the city's parks and recreation department had been scheduled at the Cedar Park Recreation Center, 1435 Main St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"The Arts & Crafts Festivalon Oct. 20, 2018, has been canceled due to weather and wet grounds," officials wrote. "There is no reschedule date. Please be sure to join us for Jazz & Art on Main in the spring. We apologize for the inconvenience."
