Cedar Park Calls For Special Called May 5 Election
Registered voters to decide on proposed tax reallocation to fund infrastructure, charter amendment, mayor and three council members.

CEDAR PARK, TX — Cedar Park City Council members on Thursday voted to place a special called election on the May 5 ballot to let residents decide on a proposed reallocation of sales tax revenue to pay for infrastructure projects.
The referendum calls for redirecting one-eighth of one cent from the Community Development Corporation Board to fund storm water drainage and street facility improvements. On the same date, general election voters will decide from among 21 propositions designed to amend the city charter and vote for a mayor and three council member seats.
