Cedar Park City Operations Updates

Press release from the City of Cedar Park:

Governor’s Order GA-34, effective Wednesday, March 10, 2021, allows businesses to return to 100% capacity and still require staff and customers to wear face coverings if businesses so choose. This Governor’s Order supersedes any local orders.

It is the nature of City government business that we have frequent interactions with the public, so our staff will continue to be required to wear face coverings in City facilities. The public is also required to wear face coverings while inside City-owned buildings.

The City is working to ramp up to normal operations as follows:

RECREATION CENTER

No reservation needed
Social distancing continues
Babysitting, room rentals & group fitness available at later date

PUBLIC LIBRARY

Return to normal hours
M-Th: 9-9 F-Sa: 9-5 Su: 1-6
Shelf access/browsing, computers, work/study seating resume
Curbside service continues
Library room rentals available at later date

CITY PARKS

Water drinking fountains open
Social distancing continues

FACE COVERINGS

City Staff still required to wear face coverings
Public still required to wear face coverings while inside City-owned buildings

CITY COUNCIL

Meetings continue to be hybrid in-person/virtual with staff & board members to attend in-person. Consultants & other presenters to join remotely
