- The Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) recognized the Cedar Park Economic Development Corporation with its Economic Excellence Recognition at this year's Legislative Conference. TEDC's Economic Excellence Recognition program honors "economic development organizations that meet a desired threshold of professionalism." - Homeowners in Cedar Park, Leander, and across Williamson County can expect to see significant increases in their property values this year — up to 40 percent in some neighborhoods. According to Alvin Lankford, chief appraiser for the Williamson Central Appraisal District, these increases are directly correlated with the current market's low inventory and high demand. Residents should receive their appraisals, which reflect a home's value as of Jan. 1, by early April via mail. (Community Impact Newspaper)
