Yard Trimmings Recycling October 19-30

From Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 30, yard trimmings will be collected to be recycled. Tree and shrub trimmings must be no more than four feet in length and no more than four inches in diameter each, weigh no more than fifty pounds and be placed in bundles. Other yard trimmings such as leaves and grass clippings must be placed in brown paper yard waste bags and not in plastic bags. Wet bags will not be picked up due to weight and risk of breakage. During this yard trimmings recycling period, yard trimmings may be placed in addition to your bulk items limit of seven (7) items outside of your trash cart. Please note that after October 30, yard trimmings will still be picked up but will count towards your bulk items limit and will not be recycled.
