CEDAR PARK, TEXAS — The holidays may be over, but there's no reason to lose that child-like awe. We're talking life-sized Candy Land game here.
On Jan. 12, residents are invited to drop by the Cedar Park Public Library, 550 Discovery Blvd., from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to play an oversize version of the beloved board game by Hasbro that's been delighting families since its creation in 1949. Participating families will navigate through the colorful world, meeting Princess Lolly, King Kandy, Lord Licorice, Gloppy the Chocolate Monster and other characters along the way.
Those finishing the game to its finish will be rewarded with sweet treats, library officials added.
