Cedar Park High School Student Forms Charity To Help Young Cancer Patients
His battle with cancer inspired him to launch his own non-profit to help others deal with their diagnosis.

CEDAR PARK, TX -- A Cedar Park high school student has launched a non-profit designed to help pediatric cancer patients.
Lance White, a ninth-grader at Cedar Park High School, is undergoing his own battle with cancer. Currently in remission with radiation and chemotherapy treatments, White was inspired to help other young people deal with cancer.
He launched the group Lift Brigade, aided by a $5,000 donation from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. But now, the public is being asked to donate in order to keep the charity going.
