Cedar Park Is Lovely, But Not Immune To Vehicle Burglaries (Video)
To drive the point home, police posted surveillance camera footage of a recent car burglary with hopes someone might recognize suspect.

CEDAR PARK, TX — As those living there know, Cedar Park is a lovely community to which a growing number of people are lured for its hometown feel despite its proximity to the big city of Austin.
Yet despite its bucolic nature, the city is not immune to car burglaries. The Cedar Park Police Department is reminding residents to lock their vehicles to avoid becoming a victim. Of recent car burglaries cases, 85 percent of them were the result of unlocked vehicles, police said.
To remind residents of the scourge, police posted surveillance camera footage of a car burglary in progress. Police are hoping someone in the public recognizes the suspect in the video to notify them as to his identity and whereabouts. If you recognized the culprit, call (512) 260-4842 or anonymously text 847411 with the keyword CPPD + your tip.
