Cedar Park Man Charged With Child Porn Possession
Mark Gobbeo, 59, is accused of amassing more than 200 images of suspected child pornography found after a police raid at his home.

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS — A Cedar Park man was recently charged after hundreds of images of suspected child pornography were found on his electronic devices, according to a published report.
Mark Gobbeo, 59, was accused of the crime following an investigation that began in November, the Austin American-Statesman reported. The probe began when the state attorney general's office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about an email containing uploaded child pornography, according to the report. The email account turned out to be Gobbeo's, according to an arrest affidavit referenced by the newspaper.
The file reportedly showed a man sexually assaulting a girl between the ages of 5 to 7 years old, according to the report. A search warrant to search Gobbeo's house along the 1100 block of Bohica Way was secured in December, ultimately leading to investigators to find 220 suspected images of child pornography on the Cedar Park man's electronic devices, according to the report.
