Cedar Park Offices Closed For Thanksgiving Holiday Week, Other Functions Alter Operation Hours

CEDAR PARK, TX — City offices will be closed Thursday and Friday of this week in observance of Thanksgiving, city officials announced.

The offices are closed Nov. 24 and Nov. 25. Some city facilities, including the Recreation Center and the library, will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 23 and remain closed until Friday, Nov. 25, officials said. The rec center will resume its regular schedule starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26. The library will resume its regular schedule on Nov. 26 at 9 a.m.

During the week of Thanksgiving, city-provided residential trash and recycling will observe a sliding schedule during the holiday week. Thursday and Friday collection days will be affected, city officials said. For example, if your regular collection day occurs on Thursday, your collection will slide this week to Friday. If your regular collection day falls on Friday, your collection will slide this week to Saturday. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday collection will not be affected.
