Cedar Park Police Distribute Toys To 100-Plus Families

Officers thank the community whose members donated toys and/or monetary contributions to help make this year's toy drive a success.

CEDAR PARK, TX — Cedar Park Police Department officers were celebrating the spirit of the holiday season after another successful distribution of toys for kids in need.

The Cedar Park Police Blue Santa effort this year provided more than 100 families in the area with toys, officials said. "Because of your generous donations, this years Blue Santa effort provided more than 100 families with toys in our area!" police told residents who contributed gifts and monetary donations to the effort. "We believe every child should have a Christmas to enjoy and your help made that a reality," officials continued on their Facebook post. "We are already looking forward to next year -- just remember to keep spreading the love!"

Videos of police officer distributing toys were posted on Facebook. "No, these officers aren’t handing out traffic tickets—they’re surprising kids with toys!" one post reads. "This has become an annual tradition for the Cedar Park Police traffic enforcement team and they love spreading holiday cheer!"
