Cedar Park Police Exercise To Block Roadway

CEDAR PARK, TX — A police training exercise scheduled on Monday will prompt closure of a key artery, a city spokeswoman said.

The exercise at the police department, 911 Quest Parkway, will take place between 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Part of the road will be blocked at Qwest and Discovery near the front of the department.

The spokeswoman, Alicia Inns, also alerted to the exercise in order to assuage concerns the sight of what may appear to be an emergency response. "Please know this is purely a training exercise," she wrote in an email.
