Cedar Park Police Investigate Fatal Shooting
Police responded to reports of shots fired at the Lakeline Villas Apartments, 2201 S. Lakeline Blvd., where they found a man shot dead.

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at a Cedar Park apartment complex on Sunday.
The incident occurred at around 9:15 p.m. when police responded to the Lakeline Villas Apartments, 2201 S. Lakeline Blvd., amid reports of shots fired. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a dead adult male with an apparent gunshot wound, police said in a press advisory.
According to a preliminary police investigation, a man and a woman arrived at the apartment complex in a vehicle. After the car was parked, a man approached as the male driver exited the vehicle, police said. The driver was shot and died at the scene.

The suspect is described as a black man of thin build, and average height, wearing an orange or red colored hoodie and dark sweatpants. The suspect left the scene in a gray or silver colored hatchback. The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, police added.
