Cedar Park Police Looking for New Recruits

The City of Cedar Park is recruiting new entry level police officers, and applications will be open until Friday.

The application will close on Jan. 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. The entrance exam is scheduled for Feb. 6 2016.

To apply all applicants must provide: a copy of their birth certificate; copy of a valid driver’s license; copy of a high school diploma; military discharge papers if applicable; and evidence that the applicant is a certified peace officer if applicable.

“It is important that your application show all the education and experience you possess. Applications may be rejected if incomplete. Resume, cover letters, and/or any other documentation submitted will not be accepted in lieu of the online application, you must include your duties (do not input “See Resume”) in the Work History section of the online application,” the department wrote in the job description.
