Cedar Park Police Outline Results Of Enhanced Spring Break Traffic Enforcement
The 42 hours worked by officers during the initiative netted four DWI arrests.

CEDAR PARK, TX -- Police reported the results of their increased patrol presence during their Spring Break on local roadways.
The local force bolstered their presence on streets from March 4-21 to guard against drunk driving. The initiative was financed through Texas Department of Transportation grant funds via the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP).
The upshot: Officers worked 42 hours during the effort, making four misdemeanor DWI arrests, city officials said.
