Cedar Park Police Investigate Suspicious Death

CEDAR PARK, TX — Cedar Park police responded to the scene of a suspicious death on Sunday afternoon.

A deceased male in his 50s was found in the brush and tree line behind the Texaco gas station at 2509 South Bell Blvd. just before 1:45 p.m., police said in a press advisory. The body was found near the Highway 183 toll road and Lakeline Boulevard, police said.

Police originally deemed the death a homicide before downgrading their assessment to a suspicious death, adding the man is a known transient in the area.
