Cedar Park Police Seek Credit Card Theft Suspect

The man is accused of using stolen cards to buy $35,000 in gift cards throughout Target stores in the area.

CEDAR PARK, TX -- Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man they accuse of using stolen credit cards to buy $35,000 in gift cards.

According to details posted on the Cedar Park Police Department's Facebook page, police say the credit cards were stolen in a vehicle burglary that took place in Cedar Park. Police added the girds were bought April 24 at various Target stores in Cedar Park and Austin.

Still images taken from store surveillance footage were released by police in the hopes someone might be able to recognize the suspect. However, the man seems very aware of the presence of cameras and is able to hide his face with a baseball cap.
