Cedar Park Residents Urged To Monitor Water Bills

CEDAR PARK, TX — Amid the unforgiving heat of a Texas summer, Cedar Park residents often are taken off guard upon experiencing sticker shock at their high water bills as they scramble to preserve their lawns. To avoid this, city officials urge residents to set up their accounts on their digital water meter portal.

Residents can visit YoureRunningTheSH2Ow.com to accomplish a number of goals designed to manage water bills, including:

• Seeing water usage.
• Setting alerts.
• Detecting leaks.

Those with an account on the digital portal but who haven’t logged in within the past year, will be prompted to create a new password. If, for any reason, residents are unable to log in, officials at the city's Utility Billing department are available to assist residents resolve their issues between Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
