Cedar Park Teacher Accused Of Having Relationship With Minor

CEDAR PARK, TX — A former Cedar Park Middle School teacher is accused of having an improper relationship with a minor she met at an Austin church, according to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.
The victim did not attend the Leander ISD school in Cedar Park, according to a press advisory issued by sheriff's officials. Jail records indicate Nicole Marie Faires Andrews has been charged with sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony that is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Officials at the sheriff's department said Andrews had conducted an ongoing relationship with the minor after the two met at the Church at Canyon Creek, 9001 FM 620 in Northwest Austin, where the woman served as a volunteer youth administrator.
