Cedar Park Teller Accused Of Stealing More Than $20K From Bank Branch

CEDAR PARK, TX — A bank teller is accused of stealing more than $20,000 from a local bank branch during a brief stint as heal teller, according to a published report.
Referencing details from an arrest affidavit, KVUE reported Candie Losoya, 29, has been charged of the theft from when she worked as lead teller at a JPMorgan Chase & Co. bank branch, 1485 Cypress Creek Rd., last year from June 16 to Sept. 23. During that time, police say she stole $20,199.
Police said Losyoa confessed to taking the money after being confronted by police, including during an interview with the Cedar Park Police Department, according to the report. She's been charged with a state theft felony, punishable by up to two years behind bars.
