Starting September 24, 2020 and continuing until further notice, the City will begin transitioning from in all-videoconferencing format for its public meetings that are subject to the Open Meetings Act, to a hybrid in-person/videoconferencing format. While some City staff and City Council Members will attend in-person under this new hybrid meeting format, other City Council Members, the public, outside consultants and other presenters will continue joining remotely. The videoconferencing is powered by WebEx, in order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called Social Distancing).

This technology will allow the public to not only watch meetings live and see all members who are in attendance, but also participate in meetings (when applicable) such as speaking during citizen communication and public hearings. (Please note: the three-minute time limit will still be in effect.)
