Cedar Park Wants Residents To Fill Out Survey Sent In The Mail
Randomly selected residents were sent survey from National Research Center on behalf of city as it gauges your interests and needs.
CEDAR PARK, TEXAS — If you recently received a resident survey in the mail from the National Research Center, the city would like to assuage any concerns you may have about the odd mailing. It's part of a municipal effort to gauge residents' needs and interests.
"The City of Cedar Park wants reassure recipients that the survey is legitimate and sanctioned by the city, and the City encourages all recipients to take the survey and return it according to survey instructions," city officials wrote on the municipal website. The surveys were mailed out in late February.
The resident survey takes a just a few minutes to complete, officials said. NRC uses benchmarking questions to make the survey results comparable to other similar sized cities, along with custom questions based on the specific needs and interests of the City of Cedar Park.

City officials explained that residents who receive the survey are a randomly generated group taken from a statistically significant number of residents calculated for the purpose of the survey. NRC will collect survey results and make a presentation to be presented to city council in the coming months, officials added.
