Cedar Park Woman Among Those Injured In Las Vegas Mass Shooting
Danae Gibbs, 23, is an employee at a local bakery and part of the ministry staff at Riverbend Church in North Austin.

CEDAR PARK, TX — A Cedar Park woman who recently graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, is among the injured in the Las Vegas shooting.
Loved ones of Danae Gibbs, 23, posted on social media on Monday reporting she was resting after surgery. Her father posted on Facebook: "She's an amazing daughter. Your prayers have been felt."
In a GoFundMe page launched to help defray medical costs, Gibbs is described as a country music fan who enjoyed going to concerts like the one that was taking place outside the Mandalay Bay Hotel where the shooting rampage took place that left 58 people dead and hundred more injured late Sunday. At last check, the fundraising drive had raised $2,370 of a $10,000 goal.

RAW: Concert Erupts Into Chaos After Vegas Massacre
On social media, Riverbend Church in Austin, 4214 N Capital of Texas Hwy., posted a note confirming Gibbs is on its ministry staff. KLBK in Lubbock interviewed Gibbs' sister, who said she had graduated from Texas Tech and was working at a bakery in Cedar Park. Gibbs herself had recently celebrated her college graduation with posts and photos posted on her Facebook page in April.
