Cedar Park Woman Arrested For Launching Hubcap At Boyfriend During Fight
The domestic disturbance began as a discussion about a sick dog, according to police.

CEDAR PARK, TX -- Police recently arrested a woman accused of hitting her boyfriend with a hubcap during an argument.
The alleged incident occurred June 3, but the details only released on Monday via an arrest affidavit referenced by KEYE-TV. Zandra Marie Rodriguez, 27, is charged with the assault stemming from a domestic disturbance call inthe 2600 block of Stapleford Drive, the news station reported.
The police report in the case indicates Rodriguez and her boyfriend were in the midst of an argument over a sick dog in their garage. The boyfriend is said to have walked away from the discussion when Rodriguez allegedly picked up a hubcap and threw it at him.

The makeshift projectile hit the man on the forehead, resulting in a small laceration, according to the police report.
Rodriguez was charged with assault with injury family violence, which is a third degree felony. Bond was set at $7,500.
