LEANDER, TEXAS — Changes are coming to Veterans Park in Leander. <a href="https://www.leandertx.gov/meetings" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Leander City Council</a> members recently approved hiring Fazzone Construction Inc. to build the third phase of the park at a cost of $450,150, according to agenda minutes. Council unanimous approval came following the company's construction at the site during its second phase. Among the envisioned added features at the park are a statue of an eagle and a labyrinthine architectural feature. More parking spaces are also planned, according to the council agenda. Veterans Park is located at 1011 S.
