Yelp reviewer Elyse L, of Austin, said: “I knew I had to try their cake balls, but being me couldn’t leave without snagging a cupcake too. We lingered for more than a few minutes at the counter with indecision because everything looked so good we simply could not make up our minds! My eyes lit up upon seeing the chocolate banana cake ball. It is banana cake that is dunked into chocolate which hardens and forms an outer shell.”

Ann’s Kitchen Cakes

8650 Spicewood Springs Rd

Augustine W, of Killeen, said: “The best cake bakery in Austin and the surrounding area...great prices, great people, great shop and Ann is the best such a pleasant person and the cakes are to die for... my favorite is the Italian Creme Cheese.... just as great as the cakes I use to get while I lived in Europe..”

Stumpy’s

251 N Nell Blvd

Yelp reviewer Jessica G, of Austin, said: “What can I say... Delicious. Banana Del Rey...banana chips, crushed walnuts, chocolate all over a marshmallow log .. It even comes with a packet of Ghiradelli Carmel so you decide how you want to spread out the drizzle! This is the perfect dessert. It’s a gourmet treat. You can tell they don’t use just any ingredients.. Total quality! If you have a sweet tooth this will not disappoint.”

Michelle’s Patisserie

Yelp reviewer Maeghan W, of Austin, said: “I’ve had cakes made by Michelle’s Patisserie on three separate occasions, and every time I do I find myself trying to think of an upcoming occasion that “needs” a cake so I can order another one because they are SO good.”

Sweeten Up Bake Shop

Danyel C, of Leander, said: “Sweeten Up made an awesome birthday cake for my son. We asked for a train cake and that’s what we got! It was adorable. But, most importantly it tasted amazing. It was chocolate cake with peanut butter filling. It was moist and had so many layers! I will definitely use them again for any special cakes that we need to order.”
