Hosted by: Leander Police Department, Leander Veterinary Clinic

Leander Pet Spooktacular offers free pet microchips for Leander residents ($5 for non-residents), low-cost pet vaccinations, registration services, adoption opportunities, and a pet costume contest at 12 p.m. (Noon). The event will be held in the parking lot near the dog park area of Lakewood Park.

Please make sure all pets are on a leash or in a pet carrier!

Pet Registration

City ordinances require all Leander resident pets to be registered, and this service is provided free at the event. For modified registration, owners are required to provide proof of spay/neuter, current rabies vaccination certificate, and proof of microchip.

If your pet is not registered, we can help! Proof of rabies vaccination certificate is required for tagged registration.

Pet Vaccinations

Leander Veterinary Clinic will provide low-cost pet vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for cats and dogs.

• Canine: Rabies ($10), Bordatella ($10), DHLPP ($15), DHPP ($15)
• Feline: Rabies ($10), FVRCP ($15)

Microchipping

Leander resident pets are eligible to receive free microchipping with proof of residency (i.e. City of Leander utility bill). Microchips for non-resident pets are $5 each. Please bring exact cash or check.
