The Art in Cedar Park story map was created using geographic information systems (GIS) technology to map the locations of various works of art, including murals, sculptures and gallery spaces, combined with photographs, exact address locations and descriptions that link to more information on the City of Cedar Park website. Most of the works featured on the Art in Cedar Park story map – such as the Cedar Park Sculpture Garden – are projects of the City’s Parks, Arts and Community Enrichment (PACE) Board*.
Art in Cedar Park is the latest installment in the story maps library on CPAtlas.com, where users may also view the Cedar Park Economic Development story map and the Cedar Park, Texas History story map. CPAtlas.com was created by staff of the Applications Division of the City of Cedar Park’s Department of Information Services. In addition to story maps, CPAtlas.com includes various interactive maps with layers, a data portal and a map library.
