Day For Special Needs Pool Patrons Scheduled In Cedar Park
'Special Mornings at Veterans Memorial Pool' offers 'fun, judgment free, and relaxed environment' for special needs individuals, city says.
CEDAR PARK, TX — City officials have set aside a "Special Mornings at Veterans Memorial Pool" to provide a comfortable setting for individuals with special needs and their families wanting to partake in aquatic recreational activities.
The June 17 event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11:30 am. at Veterans Memorial Pool. The facility is located at 2525 W New Hope Dr. in Cedar Park.
"Join us at Veterans Memorial Pool for our Special Mornings program where individuals with special needs can enjoy the pool in a fun, judgment free, and relaxed environment with their family and friends," city officials write on their website. "Our goal is to provide a comfortable setting that allows everyone to have fun and meet other families."
