Delivery App Service Favor Expands To Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Round Rock
Expansion more than doubles the company's Texas presence on the heels of bolstered service in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

AUSTIN, TX — The Austin-based deliver app service dubbed Favor has recently expanded its service area to include Cedar Park, Pflugerville and Round Rock among other cities, officials told Patch.
"With this expansion, the on-demand delivery app will provide access to even more restaurants across Greater Austin including Salt Traders Coastal Cooking, Greenhouse Craft Food, Opera Cafe & Coffeehouse, La Bodega Gourmet, Mi Ranchito, Nik’s Italian Kitchen + Bar, Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill, Chisos Grill, Bigcat BBQ and more," officials said in an emailed press release.
In addition to the aforementioned cities, Favor now will service Bee Cave, Bluff Springs, Cedar Valley and Manchaca, company officials said.

"The increased delivery zone in Austin is part of a larger statewide expansion effort to continue the on-demand delivery app’s initiative to focus on its home state," the company said. "This month’s expansion more than doubles Favor’s coverage across Texas, including doubling its DFW and San Antonio delivery areas and more than tripling its Houston delivery zone."
To mark the regional expansion, Favor is welcoming new users this month with $50 in Free Delivery Credit, according to the advisory. All first time users who download the Favor app and use the code: FAVORTX will receive $50 in delivery credit to use on orders placed on or before July 31, 2017.

In tandem with the expansion, company officials also are seeking for delivery drivers: "To service this increased footprint, Favor is actively surging its Runner base in the Austin market, offering residents more opportunities to earn extra income on a flexible schedule as independent contractors who choose their hours. Favor officials provided quick stats on the service, pointing to the growing demand:
- In 2013, Favor completed 15,000 deliveries in Austin.
- In 2017, Favor is on track to complete 1.5 million deliveries in Austin.
- Out of all of Favor’s markets, Austin is the most active late night. Favor does more late night deliveries in Austin than all of Favor’s markets combined.
Company officials provided an amplified description of their service:
