Driver Leads Cedar Park Police On High-Speed Chase Before Crash

Chase reached speeds of up to 1-- miles per hour before driver wiped out exiting 183 toll road.

CEDAR PARK, TX — Police arrested a suspect after a police chase Sunday morning.

The chase started at around 9:45 a.m. near the 183 toll road on Sunday, according to CBS Austin. Police had attempted to pull the driver over before the motorist sped off at velocity reaching 100 miles per hour, according to the report.

The chase ended when the fleeing driver exited the 183A frontage road and wrecked the car at Brushy Creek Road, police said. The driver refused medical treatment.
