Eyemart Express Opens Store In Cedar Park

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS — Eyemart Express, a leading optical retailer and the fastest provider of quality prescription eyewear in the industry, is opening its first store in Cedar Park, officials announced Monday.

The local Eyemart Express is located at 1300 E. Whitestone Blvd., and will open in celebration mode on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first 25 families at the event will receive a voucher for one free pair of kid’s glasses, officials added.

The Cedar Park Eyemart Express marks the fifth Austin-area store. To celebrate, Austin residents can take advantage of special grand opening promotions in all Eyemart Express stores through Nov. 10:

• Two pairs of single vision glasses for $19.
• Two pairs of progressive vision glasses for $68.

"Eyemart Express takes pride in providing busy consumers with the right glasses at the right price right now, offering a unique mix of value, style and timely service," officials said in a prepared statement. "All stores carry more than 2,000 frames from brands such as Fendi, Gucci, Calvin Klein, Ray-Ban, Kate Spade, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger, and Michael Kors. The stores also feature an onsite lab so 90 percent of glasses can be ordered and received on the same day — some in as little as 30 minutes."

Company officials noted the store opening expands the eyewear retailer’s everyday discount programs in Austin:

• All veterans, retired, active- and non-active duty military personnel and their families receive an additional 20 percent off the company’s existing affordable prices through November 17 in honor of Veteran’s Day. The military community can enjoy the everyday 10 percent discount starting November 18. A valid military ID is required at the time of purchase.
• School faculty and staff including teachers, coaches, bus drivers, janitors and more, receive a 20 percent discount on eyewear purchases. A valid school employee ID is required at the time of purchase.
