Forced Prostitution At Cedar Park Motel Alleged

CEDAR PARK, TX — A man has been charged with promotion of prostitution after a woman alleged she was forced into having sex with men at a Cedar Park hotel, according to a published report.
The Austin American-Statesman reported Earl Robinson, 37, of Arkansas, was charged with promotion of prostitution, a state jail felony punishable by up two years behind bars. The charge comes after the victim told police Robinson had moved her to Texas in May promising a place to live, paying for her room at a Motel 6 at 800 Arrow Point, according to an arrest affidavit referenced by the newspaper.
The woman is said to have been forced to offer sexual services to two men in the hotel parking lot out of fear for Robinson.

According to Williamson County Jail records, Robinson was released from detention on Friday after posting bail set at $50,000.
