Crafts, tabletop games, a classic arcade game room, cosplay contest and more will be featured as attendees arrive in full costume.

CEDAR PARK, TX — Who needs Comic-con when you've got Mini-Con?

The Cedar Park Public Library will serve as staging area for the third annual Mini-Con on Friday, described as "...a celebration of all things great and geeky." The event is open to all ages, and will feature crafts, tabletop games, a classic arcade game room, cosplay contest and local vendors that will include Titan Moon Comics and Kendall from T&K Arts.

"Every year, public libraries around the state and country host huge summer reading clubs that are primarily targeted toward children," library officials said. "Many libraries, including the Cedar Park Public Library, try to bring adults in on the fun, too."
