Gas Leak Prompts WilCo Justice Center Evacuation
Officials said they would alert the public when it's safe to return to the building at 405 Martin Luther King St.
AUSTIN, TX — A gas leak prompted the evacuation of the Williamson County Justice Center on Friday morning, officials ssaid.
The building is located at 405 Martin Luther King Jr. St. in Georgetown, the county seat. Officials alerted to the evacuation just after 11:15 a.m., giving the all clear some 40 minutes later.
It's unclear what may have caused the gas leak to occur. County officials provided no further details.
