The concept designed for the cost-conscious consumer will be ushered in with a day-long party heralding its arrival on April 26.

CEDAR PARK, TX — If you missed Sunday's parking lot party heralding the long awaited 365 by Whole Foods Market-Cedar Park store, worry not: A grand opening with day-long festivities is scheduled this Wednesday.
"We're excited to open our first hometown 365 store in Cedar Park on Wednesday, April 26, and we want YOU to join in the fun!" store officials said. "You won't want to miss it, folks!"
On Sunday, store officials staged a party of sorts in the parking lot of the new, 30,000-square-foot store located in The Parke shopping center at 5001 183A toll road. Some 3,000 reportedly attended the event staged from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. featuring food and live music.

But that was just a warm-up. The Wednesday grand opening event will go from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., preceded by the opening of the Easy Tiger bakery at 8:30 am. After that, attendees can feast on prizes, samples and live music by local band ShinyRibs, and more!
This 5% Community Giving Day will benefit Austin non-profit, The Thinkery, so you might want to add the event to your calendar. The 5 percent descriptor indicates that 5 percent of opening day profits will benefit the nonprofit.

With the new store, Cedar Park joins the rarefied ranks of cities that have such a retailing option, designed for cost-conscious consumers. There are almost 500 Whole Foods stores globally, but only a handful of the 365 variety. Cost consciousness is the main appeal, with a digital rewards program that yields 10 percent discounts on more than 100 store products daily.
As if all this weren't enough, there's also a JuiceLand inside the new store. A JuiceLand! Smoothies, people!
