Groundbreaking for Crystal Falls Town Center Thursday

The new 94,000-square-foot shopping center is expected to finish in 2016.

One of the largest master-planned communities in central Texas is about to get a little larger.

Randalls Food Markets and Cypress Equities will break ground Thursday for the Crystal Falls Town Center, a 94,000-square-foot shopping center, reported RE Business Online. The shopping center will be located in the Crystal Falls community in Leander and will be anchored by a new Randalls grocery store.

Several high-profile figures are expected to attend the ceremony such as Randalls president Sidney Hopper, Cypress Equities senior vice president Stephen Schmidt, Leander Mayor Chris Fielder and Leander Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Bridget Brandt will be on hand at the ceremony. The center’s address will be 3501 N. Lakeline Blvd.

Some other amenities of the Crystal Falls community, which spans 5,000 acres of hill country, include a traditional golf course, a disc golf course and several parks, playgrounds and pools.
