Halloween Weather: Trick Or Treat In Cedar Park-Leander?

Will weather be a trick or a treat for Halloween?

Children looking to go trick-or-treating on Saturday may have to figure out how to work an umbrella into their costumes.

Halloween is still about a week away, but forecast maps on National Weather Service are offering a hint of what’s to come.

As of Monday, there’s a 60 percent chance of rain on Saturday. Witches, beware of melting. It will be fairly warm earlier in the day, with a high of 77 degrees. Showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected throughout the day, so costumes with hoods will be the best bet.
