  1. For the first time in Leander, a major car dealership is now open for business. Honda Leander is a 9-acre dealership with 27 service bays and is a part of the Penske Automotive Group. The dealership and service center broke ground in Mar. 2021, and is open as of Jan. 3, 2022. (Community Impact Newspaper)
  2. According to the city of Cedar Park, Lakeline Park's first phase is anticipated to open in the summer of 2022. The city park will be located on 200 acres between Bell Boulevard and Little Elm Trail. Construction began in August, and completed work includes installation of erosion control, site work clearing, excavation, embankment, and water and sewer line installation.   • The Austin Bulldog Rescue is looking for some to rescue or foster a 7-year-old bulldog who is scheduled to be euthanized on Friday. He is gentle, craves human affection and, upon initial examination, there are no immediate medical causes for ending his life. (Facebook)
