Jogger Attacked, Sexually Assaulted During Early-Morning Run

Police asking for help from the public toward apprehending the assailant.

CEDAR PARK-LEANDER, TX -- Cedar Park police are seeking a man they say sexually assaulted a female victim while she was jogging in the Silver Oak neighborhood Thursday morning.

Police say the attack occurred around 6 a.m. in the 100 block of South Gadwall, less than a block away from Reagan Elementary School, KXAN-TV reports.

The woman told police she was grabbed from behind, forced to the ground and sexually assaulted. She described her assailant as being from 5’ 10” to 5’ 11” in height and having a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt and shorts.
