Leander Bank Collecting School Supplies
SouthStar Bank is collecting back-to-school supplies until Friday, Aug. 2, the date of its 'First Friday Community Breakfast.'

LEANDER, TX — The Leander branch of SouthStar Bank will have a back-to-school edition of its First Friday Community Breakfast on Aug. 2 with a school supply donation drive.
The bank has been collecting supplies for some time, with Friday the last day to donate. The event is scheduled on Friday, Aug. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. All contributions will be donated to Leander Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF).
According to information found on its website, LEEF has a mission of providing resources to support innovation, enrichment, and equity in pursuit of academic excellence within the Leander Independent School District community. LEEF supports its mission through three main program initiatives:
