Fireworks Near Me: Leander's 4th Of July 2020

Patch has your complete guide to Fourth of July fireworks shows, parades and other festive events in and around Leander.

LEANDER, TX — As far as July 4 fireworks are involved, the show will go in Leander — despite cancellations taking place elsewhere over concerns on the coronavirus.

Fireworks and live music headline the city's Fourth of July Celebration this year, and the city is offering tickets while supplies last. Still, Leander Fest has been altered to ensure social distancing as a way of mitigating potential spread of illness, officials said on the city website.

"In accordance with county and state guidelines, we made a few changes to Leander's annual holiday event this year to help minimize public risk of exposure to coronavirus," city officials wrote. "The city's Fourth of July Celebration will be a ticketed event with limited vehicle parking and guest seating, and we will ask participants to adhere to social distancing guidelines within our venue.
