Leander City Offices Closed On Memorial Day, May 28, 2018

But Robin Bledsoe Park will remain open. Also, learn more about garbage collection times and utility payment options during holiday.

LEANDER, TX — City offices in Leander will be closed on May 28 in observance of Memorial Day, officials said.

City offices will resume normal operations by Tuesday, May 29. As for other municipal functions:

  • Sanitation collections - Garbage and recycling collection services will operate as normal. View the collection schedule to determine your pickup day.
  • Utility bills - Payments can be dropped off in the utility drop box located at the south end of Leander City Hall building on 200 W. Willis Street. Payments are also accepted online(link is external).

The swimming pool at Robin Bledsoe Park will be open Memorial Day weekend, May 26-28 officials said. Learn more about summer pool hours and admission.

Bledsoe Park is a 16-acre recreational space featuring a lighted multipurpose synthetic field , playscape, swimming pool, splash pad, pavilion (available for rental), BBQ grill, concessions, restrooms, lighted outdoor basketball court, amphitheater, drinking fountain, and walking trail, according to a description on the municipal website.

The park is located near Bagdad Road between Hero Way West and Crystal Falls Parkway. Park hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Multipurpose Field Open Play times are Tuesday 2 p.m. from 5 p.m., Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
