Teachers sometimes need to go on doctors appointments, tend to family emergencies and more, relying on qualified substitutes for reprieve.

LEANDER, TEXAS — Leander ISD is looking for a good few substitute teachers to serve across the district's 42 campuses.

Substitutes not only serve an important role in their communities as it relates to the education of children, but offer reprieve for educators needing to take time off for doctors appointments, family emergencies or attending gatherings designed to further their educational careers.

It's as easy as ABC, with rewards that are fulfilling both personally and financially for those needing a little extra cash for few hours' work:

  • No experience necessary/no degree required.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Small commitment: as few as 2-3 days per month.
